Switching between monthly and annual
You can switch billing interval at any time from the Billing page. The two directions work differently — one takes effect straight away, the other is deferred.

Switching from monthly to annual
This is an immediate change. As soon as you confirm the switch, you’re charged a prorated amount to cover the difference between what you’ve already paid this month and the annual rate, and your account moves onto annual billing straight away. Your next renewal will then be a full year from that point, at the annual rate.
Switching from annual to monthly
This is a deferred change, not an immediate one. There’s no charge when you make the switch, and nothing changes about your billing straight away — you keep your existing annual plan running exactly as before. The move to monthly billing is scheduled to take effect once your current annual period ends. Until then, the Billing page will show that a switch to monthly is scheduled, along with the date it takes effect.
You can cancel the scheduled change from the Billing page before the switch date, and stay on annual billing.
