Set up a second premises (copy your setup across)

One Rated5 account can hold more than one premises. Rather than setting everything up again from nothing, you can copy the setup from a premises you already have.

Start adding a new premises

From your account, choose to add a new premises and give it its own name and address.

Choose a premises to copy from

Pick an existing premises as the source. This carries across its appliances, adopted safe methods, checklist and cleaning templates, suppliers and their item catalogues, probes, scheduled tasks, and training requirements.

Re-acknowledge safe methods at the new premises

Copied safe methods land at the new premises restarted at version 1, so whoever's responsible there will need to sign off on them again, even if they've already done so at the original premises.

Know what's deliberately left out

Records, readings, documents, attachments and audit history are never copied — each premises' diary starts empty.

Tip: Your team, roles and permissions are shared across your whole account. You don't need to re-invite anyone for a new premises — assign the right people to it instead.
