Signing up takes a minute and doesn't ask for payment details. Rated5 sets up your account's essentials automatically, then walks you through the rest with a short onboarding wizard.
Fill in the sign-up form
You only need four things — your name, email address, a password, and your business name — plus accepting the terms. There's no card or payment field at this stage.
Check your nation is right
Your account starts on England as a default, along with the Europe/London timezone and "Owner" as your job title. If you're in Wales, Scotland or Northern Ireland, correct the nation in step 1 of the onboarding wizard straight after signup — it drives your legal temperature thresholds.
Let the wizard guide you
After signup you're taken through a 5-step wizard: premises details, adding your equipment, a look at your daily checks, a look at your safe methods, and inviting your team. Each step can be skipped and come back to later, except the first.
Add your first appliance to go live
Your checklists, safe methods, training requirements, document categories and probes are all set up the moment you sign up. No daily checks are generated until you add at least one fridge, freezer or other appliance.
